Junior Copywriter at GinjaBet

Role Description

• We are looking for a Junior Copywriter to join our Marketing team and help create engaging, clear and conversion-focused content for our sports betting customers.
• The ideal candidate should enjoy sports, storytelling and digital content, with the ability to turn betting products, promotions and sports moments into simple and engaging copy.
• You will work closely with the CRM, Sportsbook, Marketing and Product teams to create content that informs, engages and encourages customers to interact with GinjaBet.

Key Responsibilities

CRM Campaigns

• Write copy for CRM campaigns across SMS, push notifications, email and other customer communication channels.
• Create engaging copy for promotions, offers, campaigns and sportsbook activities.
• Adapt messaging for different customer segments and campaigns.
• Ensure CRM copy is clear, concise and aligned with campaign objectives.
• Work with the CRM team to develop timely messages around sporting events, promotions and customer activities.

Sportsbook Content

• Create short-form content around football matches, fixtures, leagues, competitions and betting opportunities.
• Write engaging match and promotional copy for sportsbook campaigns.
• Develop headlines, captions and promotional messages that capture customers' attention.
• Work with the Sportsbook/Marketing team to ensure content is accurate and relevant to current sporting events.
• Keep up with major sporting events, football trends and conversations that can be translated into engaging content.

Blog & Editorial Content

• Write simple, informative and engaging blog posts around sports, football, betting and related topics.
• Research topics and develop content that is useful and interesting to GinjaBet customers.
• Write content that is easy to understand, well-structured and aligned with the brand's tone.
• Edit and proofread content before publication.
• Support SEO-focused content initiatives where required.

General Marketing Copy

• Develop copy for social media, landing pages, banners, in-app/web content and promotional materials.
• Contribute ideas for campaigns and content concepts.
• Adapt existing content for different channels and audiences.
• Maintain consistency in GinjaBet's tone of voice across marketing communications.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in copywriting, content writing, digital marketing or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent grammar, spelling and attention to detail.
• Interest in football, sports and/or sports betting.
• Basic understanding of sportsbook and betting terminology.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced marketing environment and meet deadlines.
• Good understanding of social media and digital content.
• Creativity and willingness to experiment with different content styles.
