Junior Accounting Officer at Swift Consulting

LOCATION : Sangotedo, Lagos

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Account Officer to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, help maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to efficient financial processes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 0–2 years of accounting or finance experience (internships included)
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity
• Good communication and organizational skills

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process and record financial transactions accurately and on time
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
• Maintain updated financial records and supporting documentation
• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support the senior accounting team in audits and budgeting
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
