The IT Technician is responsible for managing and maintaining the school and server hardware, network infrastructure, and backup systems. This role ensures the availability, efficiency, and security of critical IT services.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management within a corporate setting.
Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administration are a plus.
Strong understanding of network protocols, virtualisation, and cloud computing.
Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL).
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
