IT Support Officer at Grandville Medical & Laser

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, technically skilled, and customer-focused IT Support Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first-line technical support, maintaining the organization\'s IT infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and application problems promptly.
• Monitor and maintain the organization\'s network infrastructure and internet connectivity.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
• Install software updates, antivirus solutions, and security patches.
• Perform routine system backups and assist with data recovery when required.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support requests, and resolutions.
• Support users with Microsoft Office applications and other business software.
• Liaise with external vendors for equipment maintenance and procurement when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with the organization\'s IT policies and information security standards.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years\' experience in an IT support role.
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, networking, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, CCTV systems, IP telephony, and basic server administration will be an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, Cisco) will be an added advantage.
