Job Summary:

• The company is seeking to hire an IT Security Expert who will play a crucial role in safeguarding the organization's information systems and data against potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• This role requires a deep understanding of information security principles, risk management, and the ability to implement and maintain effective security measures.
• The IT Security Expert will collaborate with various teams to assess, plan, and implement security measures to protect the organization's digital assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
• Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Design, implement, and manage network security architecture.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual activities and potential security threats.
• Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security appliances.
• Develop and maintain an incident response plan.
• Lead incident response efforts in the event of a security breach.
• Conduct post-incident analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training and awareness programs for employees to promote a security-conscious culture.
• Keep employees informed about the latest security risks and best practices.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance.
• Design and implement security architecture for systems and applications.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure secure coding practices.
• Implement and manage identity and access management solutions.
• Ensure proper access controls and permissions are in place.
• Implement and manage security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
• Monitor logs and alerts for suspicious activities.
• Evaluate and manage the security posture of third-party vendors.
• Ensure vendors adhere to security standards and requirements.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
• Proven experience in IT security roles, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
