Investment Officer at Capital Express Assurance Limited

Job Description

• Develop and understandthe assigned investment products and adopt appropriate strategies.
• Prepare regular investment reports and reviews that is inclusive of quantitative and qualitative studies.
• Monitor global economic, political, and market developments to identify opportunities and risks associated with all asset classes.
• Attend annual meetings, review quarterly financial statements, and keep abreast of any policy changes.
• Execute investment decision(s) according to approved investment guidelines and mandates
• Monitor portfolios on an ongoing basis to ensure that positions are consistent with approved investment guidelines.
• Generate reports detailing portfolio performance, risk, and exposure.
• Conduct fundamental research on companies, industries, and markets to support investment decisions.
• Build and maintain financial models to support investment analysis and decision-making.
• Proactively identify potential investment opportunities based on industry experience, reputation, market potential, financial capability, and strategic fit.

Qualification and requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 5 years of work experience as an Investment Officer within the investment banking and finance Industry
• Adequate demonstration of investment techniques, products, and procedures
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong research and critical thinking abilities
• Highly motivated and results-driven individual.
