Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting and financial operations. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a solid foundation in finance and accounting within a structured corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, reports, and schedules
• Process invoices, payments, and expense claims accurately and in a timely manner
• Support bank reconciliations and monitor account balances
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial transactions
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
• Provide administrative support to the finance team as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience (NYSC experience is acceptable)
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
