    Inventory Manager

    Job Overview:

    • As the Inventory Manager at Koolboks, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our inventory operations.
    • Your responsibilities will include overseeing stock levels, implementing efficient inventory management systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely product availability.

    Responsibilities:

    Inventory Planning and Strategy:

    • Develop and implement inventory planning strategies aligned with business objectives.
    • Analyze sales forecasts, historical data, and market trends to optimize stock levels.
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to align inventory plans with demand.

    Operational Oversight:

    • Oversee day-to-day inventory operations, including ordering, receiving, and replenishment.
    • Implement efficient inventory management systems to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
    • Monitor and analyze inventory metrics to identify areas for improvement.

    Supplier Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
    • Negotiate favorable terms and agreements with suppliers to optimize inventory costs.
    • Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvements as needed.

    Collaboration with Teams:

    • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to understand promotional activities and adjust inventory plans accordingly.
    • Collaborate with finance teams to manage inventory costs and budget adherence.
    • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to streamline inventory processes.

    Quality Control:

    • Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory data.
    • Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to identify discrepancies and address issues.
    • Work with product development to enhance product packaging and reduce damage during storage.

    Reporting and Analysis:

    • Prepare and present regular reports on inventory levels, turnover, and aging.
    • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Provide recommendations for process optimization and cost savings.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in the renewable energy or technology sector.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
