Job Summary

• We are looking for a skilled and passionate Intercontinental Cook who is experienced in preparing a wide range of international dishes, with the ability to occasionally incorporate or work alongside Nigerian cuisine.
• The ideal candidate should have strong culinary knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook various intercontinental meals such as:
• Ensure food is prepared and served according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Assist in planning daily or weekly menus in coordination with the Head Chef.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper food storage at all times.
• Monitor food inventory and assist in placing orders for ingredients as needed.
• Support other kitchen staff in prep work and cooking during peak hours.
• Follow health, safety, and food handling procedures.
• Work as part of a kitchen team and communicate effectively with other staff.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 2 - 4 years' experience cooking intercontinental dishes in a hotel, restaurant, lounge, or catering environment.
• Ability to cook and present international dishes consistently and attractively.
• Basic knowledge of Nigerian dishes is a plus.
• Culinary training or vocational certification is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and handling practices.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Reliable, organized, and committed to quality service.
