We are looking for talented and qualified IT support personnel to join our team.
You will be responsible for a smooth operation of computer systems and ensure all users get maximum benefits from them.
You will troubleshoot, install and configure computer hardware and provide IT support for the organization and deal directly with employees who have any technical issues .
Responsibilities
Install and configure hardware and software components.
Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software.
Resolve issues for staff via phone, in person, or electronically.
Log bugs and enhancement requests.
Provide introductory on-line & classroom training for company products where required.
Resolve technical issues in a timely manner using available resources within the company.
Keep computer systems running smoothly and ensure users get the maximum benefit from them.
Collaborate with team members to assist in IT infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
Monitor and maintain network performance and proactively identify potential issues, taking corrective actions to prevent disruptions.
Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
Develop and follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system.
Administer and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various systems and platforms
Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs.
Ensure all open logs are closed within the stipulated time.
Prioritise and manage many open cases at one time.
Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as vendors.
Test and evaluate new technology.
Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or related field,
Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
Proficient with Google and Microsoft office tools.
Experience with CCTV and Access control systems.
Familiarity with Service Desk Solutions especially Zohodesk.
Familiarity with MDM, Firewall and Identity Management System.
Experience troubleshooting systems (hardware and software).
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Excellent reporting and documentation skills.
In depth knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11, Mac OS, Chrome OS and Linux.
