Role Summary

• The IT Professional will be responsible for managing and supporting the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, and digital operations.
• The role involves ensuring system reliability, providing technical support, maintaining network security, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and driving technology improvements to support business efficiency and growth.

Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Management:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, servers, and network systems.
• Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functionality.
• Manage IT assets and equipment inventory.

Technical Support:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for users.
• Resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues promptly.
• Respond to helpdesk requests efficiently.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.

Network Administration:

• Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, internet, and wireless networks.
• Monitor network performance and ensure reliable connectivity.

Cybersecurity & Data Protection:

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect data and systems.
• Monitor for threats and manage firewalls, antivirus, backups, and access controls.

System Administration:

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and updates.
• Ensure system availability and business continuity.

Database & Data Management:

• Maintain databases and ensure data integrity.
• Perform backups and recovery procedures.

Software Implementation & Support:

• Install and support business applications and software systems.
• Ensure compatibility between systems and applications.

Hardware Maintenance & Repairs:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on computer hardware and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and replace faulty hardware components where necessary.
• Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims and replacement of defective equipment.
• Ensure all office IT equipment remains functional and properly maintained.

Documentation & Vendor Management:

• Maintain IT documentation, records, and procedures.
• Liaise with vendors and coordinate procurement of IT equipment and services.

Training & Continuous Improvement:

• Train staff on IT systems and cybersecurity awareness.
• Recommend and implement technology improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years experience in IT support, system administration, network management, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking, operating systems, and software applications.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining computer hardware and peripherals is required.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
