ICT Officer at Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent De Paul Hospital

Responsibilities

• Maintaining hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS), EMR, laboratory, and pharmacy systems.
• Troubleshooting computer hardware, software, servers, printers, and network devices (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi) for staff.
• Protecting patient confidentiality by managing user access, firewalls, and conducting regular data backups and disaster recovery planning.
• Installing and configuring new systems, maintaining, and upgrading hardware and software.
• Training hospital staff on system usage, IT policies, and best practices.
• Liaising with external technology vendors and service providers.

Requirements

• A university degree in Computer Science, ICT, or a closely related field
• Strong knowledge of network administration, troubleshooting, cybersecurity, and data protection regulations.
• Proven experience in IT support, preferably within a healthcare or clinical environment.
