    Human Resources Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Contributes to the development and implementation of HR initiatives, policies, procedures, and processes.
    • Supports the full range of staff recruitment and selection processes.
    • Carries out background checks on recommended candidates.
    • Assists to design and conduct induction programmes for new employees.
    • Develops a training plan using training need analysis model.
    • In consultation with the Head, HR, provides advisory services to line managers and staff on HR processes and policies.
    • Ensures accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in digital and physical formats.
    • Collects and analyse HR data from a variety of sources including the HR Information System (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labour statistics, competitors practices, and other sources.

    Requirements

    • First Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
    • Certification in HR (CIPM/CIPD/PHRI/SHRM et al)
    • Minimum of 3 years relevant and progressive experience.
    • Flair for compensation and benefits and Data Analytics.
    • Great business communication (including written and verbal) skills.
    • Expert presentation and interpersonal skills.
    • Good carriage, professional appearance, and positive outlook to work.
    • Strong ethical perspectives.
