Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to oversee HR operations across our manufacturing facilities and administrative offices.
• The ideal candidate will have strong experience in industrial relations, factory workforce management, recruitment, performance management, HR compliance, and employee development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage employee and industrial relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary matters, union relations, and workforce welfare.
• Oversee factory workforce management, including attendance, shifts, overtime, casual workers, and employee welfare.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and manpower planning for factory, technical, sales, R&D, and administrative roles.
• Develop and manage KPIs, performance appraisals, employee engagement, and talent development programs.
• Maintain employee records, HR policies, employee handbook, leave and attendance systems, and HR documentation.
• Work with Finance/Payroll to ensure accurate salary processing and statutory deductions including PAYE, Pension, NHF, NSITF, and ITF.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian Labour Laws, Factory/HSE regulations, and company policies.
• Advise management on workforce planning, compensation, organizational structure, employee retention, and HR strategy.
• Support change management, organizational development, and workforce requirements during business/plant expansion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field.
• CIPM certification is required.
• 6–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial/senior HR role.
• Strong experience in FMCG, Cosmetics, Plastics, Manufacturing, or a similar factory environment.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws and statutory compliance.
• Experience managing factory/blue-collar workforce and industrial relations.
• Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
