    HR Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
    • Lead the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
    • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and employee engagement initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws, aviation industry regulations, and company policies.
    • Plan and oversee training and development programs for employees.
    • Implement performance appraisal processes and provide guidance on performance improvement.
    • Administer employee benefit programs and ensure accurate record-keeping.
    • Knowledge of union dynamics and experience in dealing with unionized workforces is an added advantage.
    • Develop and update HR policies and procedures to reflect industry best practices.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
    • Minimum of 10 years' experience as HR Generalist with a minimum of 2 years experience in an Aviation industry.
    • MBA or MSc. with HR professional certification is mandatory. E.g., CIPM, SPHRi, etc.
    • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
    • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
    • Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
    • Excellent active listening, negotiation, presentation, and problemsolving skills
    • Must be peopleoriented, resultsdriven, proactive, creative, empathetic, and patient.
    • Knowledge of relevant labor, health, and safety laws and HR best practices.
    • Strong use of HR tools and systems.
    • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
    • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
