JOB SUMMARY
Residency Hotel is seeking a dynamic, confident, result-oriented, and well-presented Physical Marketing Officer to drive the hotel\'s offline marketing activities, increase brand visibility, generate new business opportunities, and attract corporate and individual customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for actively taking the hotel\'s products and services to the market through face-to-face marketing, corporate visits, business partnerships, referrals, networking, outdoor promotions, and direct sales activities.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable meeting people, creating business relationships, making presentations, following up with prospects, and converting leads into actual bookings and revenue.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct daily physical marketing activities within assigned territories.
- Visit companies, offices, organizations, government establishments, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential business partners.
- Promote Residency Hotel\'s rooms, restaurant, bar, conference facilities, event spaces, and other services.
- Distribute approved marketing materials, brochures, flyers, business cards, and promotional materials.
- Identify high-traffic areas, businesses, institutions, and communities that can generate hotel business.
- Represent the hotel professionally during external marketing activities.
- Identify and approach potential corporate clients for accommodation, meetings, conferences, events, and other hotel services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate organizations and key decision-makers.
- Negotiate and follow up on corporate rates and business opportunities in line with management-approved terms.
- Build a database of existing and prospective corporate clients.
- Generate repeat business through effective relationship management.
- Actively generate leads and convert prospects into room bookings, event bookings, restaurant reservations, conferences, and other revenue opportunities.
- Meet agreed monthly and weekly sales targets.
- Develop creative strategies for attracting new customers.
- Follow up consistently with prospects and previous customers.
- Monitor competitors\' activities, pricing, promotions, and market positioning.
- Identify new markets and revenue opportunities for the hotel.
- Establish relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, event planners, relocation companies, NGOs, companies, schools, churches, government agencies, and other relevant organizations.
- Seek opportunities for corporate accommodation agreements and referral partnerships.
- Attend relevant business meetings, networking events, exhibitions, and community activities on behalf of the hotel.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and business partners.
- Maintain regular communication with existing clients and prospects.
- Understand clients\' needs and recommend appropriate hotel services.
- Respond promptly to enquiries and ensure proper follow-up.
- Collect customer feedback and communicate relevant information to management.
- Encourage satisfied customers and corporate clients to make repeat bookings and referrals.
- Submit daily activity reports detailing physical visits, prospects contacted, leads generated, and follow-ups made.
- Submit weekly marketing performance reports.
- Maintain an accurate prospect and client database.
- Track leads from initial contact through conversion.
- Report successful bookings and revenue generated from marketing activities.
- Provide management with feedback on market conditions, customer demands, and competitor activities.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)
Performance will be measured based on:
- Number of physical marketing visits conducted weekly.
- Number of new prospects generated.
- Number of new corporate accounts acquired.
- Number of qualified leads generated.
- Room bookings generated through personal marketing efforts.
- Conference/event bookings generated.
- Restaurant and other service referrals generated.
- Monthly sales/revenue target achieved.
- Conversion rate of prospects to paying customers.
- Number of active business partnerships established.
- Customer retention and repeat business.
- Quality and timeliness of daily/weekly reports.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of HND/Bachelor\'s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Sales, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–3 years\' experience in hotel marketing, sales, business development, field marketing, or a related role.
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
- Proven ability to generate leads and achieve sales targets.
