Job Description

• A Hotel Gardener maintains the aesthetic appeal of hotel landscapes, ensuring lush, vibrant greenery. Responsibilities include planting, pruning, watering, and general upkeep of gardens, lawns, and other outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

• Plant, water, and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees in the hotel garden
• Mow and edge lawns, trim hedges, and remove weeds
• Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment
• Monitor and control pests and diseases in the garden
• Coordinate with the hotel management and other staff to ensure the garden is attractive and well-maintained
• Ensure the garden area is clean and free of debris
• Assist with outdoor event set-up and decoration
• Perform other gardening-related duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a minimum of SSCE qualification with at least 1-2 years of experience in gardening or landscaping
• Knowledge of plant care and maintenance
• Ability to operate and maintain garden equipment, such as lawnmowers and trimmer
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure a clean and well-maintained garden area
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication skills to interact with guests and other hotel staff
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the job.
