Hospital Security at Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent De Paul Hospital

Responsibilities

• To spot security threats, fire hazards, or maintenance problems, routinely monitor the building and grounds, including parking areas.
• To prohibitillegal entry, keep an eye on entrances and exits, control visitor/staffaccess, and implement security regulations.
• Attend to fire alarms, security alarms, code calls (such as code white and code black), and, if required, help with evacuations.
• To control, soothe, or restrain irate patients, guests, or employees, employ verbal de-escalation tactics.
• Guard against hospital equipment loss, theft, and damage.
• Create thorough reports for the chief security officerthat include all daily activities and security incidents

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred.
• Candidate must reside within the Kubwa, Dutse, Gwarimpa,Karsana and Dawaki axis.
• Strong verbal communication, de-escalation techniques, customer service, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 50+ pounds, and, in some cases, wear tactical gear.
