    Hospital Manager

    • Supervise daily operations of a hospital or specific unit, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient patient care. 
    • Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial sustainability. 
    • Implement and enforce policies, develop programs for eye disease prevention and health promotion, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. 
    • Train and supervise staff, including medical and administrative personnel, and conduct performance evaluations. 
    • Monitor healthcare quality, implement quality improvement initiatives, and ensure adherence to standards and best practices. 
    • Contribute to strategic planning for the hospital, setting goals and objectives, and developing strategies for improvement. 
    • Communicate effectively with medical and administrative staff, collaborate with other professionals, and build relationships with external organizations. 
    • Collect and analyze data to identify trends, assess performance, inform decision-making, and prepare reports for various stakeholders. Overseeing daily operations of the hospital
    • Managing hospital staff and departmental managers
    • Developing and implementing hospital policies and procedures
    • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
    • Monitoring hospital budgets and financial performance
    • Coordinating patient care services
    • Improving patient satisfaction and quality of care
    • Implementing best practices in healthcare management
    • Conducting regular staff meetings and training sessions
    • Liaising with medical staff, department heads, and external stakeholders
    • Handling public relations and community outreach
    • Managing hospital resources and inventory
    • Addressing patient complaints and resolving issues
    • Preparing reports and presentations for the hospital board
    • Ensuring proper maintenance of hospital facilities and equipment

    Job Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Public Healthcare Management/Administration, Business Administration, Gender Equality or related field. 
    • Prior experience in healthcare management, public health, or a related field is necessary. 
    • Strong leadership skills to motivate and supervise staff, and manage teams effectively. 
    • Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and develop solutions. 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and present information clearly.
    • Understanding of budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation.
    • In-depth understanding of public health principles, disease prevention, health promotion, and relevant regulations.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
    • Proficiency in healthcare management software, data analysis tools, and other relevant technologies.
    • Relevant certifications in healthcare management or public health can be beneficial. 
    • Strong understanding of healthcare laws and regulations
    • Experience with healthcare information systems
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Proven leadership and management abilities
    • Strong financial acumen
    • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
    • Experience in strategic planning and organizational development
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare management role
    • Comprehensive knowledge of hospital operations and administration

    • Proficiency in healthcare management software
