    Heavy Truck Mechanic - Sinotuk Howo

    Location: Ogijo Ogun,

    Job Summary

    • Experienced Heavy Truck Mechanic specializing in Sinotuk Howo vehicles.
    • Responsible for inspection, diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance of heavy-duty trucks to ensure safe operation, reliability, and minimum downtime.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on SINOTRUK HOWO trucks
    • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
    • Repair engines, gearboxes, differentials, braking systems, and suspension
    • Service air systems, fuel systems, and cooling systems
    • Carry out preventive maintenance as per manufacturer guidelines
    • Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment effectively
    • Maintain accurate service and repair records
    • Ensure compliance with safety and company standards
    • Support breakdown repairs and emergency maintenance when required.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Diploma / Certificate in Automobile or Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or similar
    • 8-10 years of experience with heavy-duty trucks (HOWO preferred)
    • Knowledge of diesel engines and pneumatic systems
    • Valid heavy vehicle driving license (optional but an advantage).

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong knowledge of SINOTRUK HOWO truck systems
    • Engine overhaul and transmission repair expertise
    • Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams
    • Problem-solving and fault-diagnosis skills
    • Good teamwork and communication skills
    • Time management and attention to detail.

    Work Conditions:

    • Workshop and field repair environment
    • May involve shift work or emergency call-outs
