Heavy Duty Crane Operator/Driver at JC International

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Truck Driver to support our logistics and field operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of heavy equipment, materials, and machinery to and from project sites across Nigeria. Additionally, the driver will support the Training Department by conducting practical sessions for candidates enrolled in the Novice Crane Operators Training program.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and operate heavy-duty trucks safely and efficiently.
• Transport company equipment, tools, and materials to designated sites.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure strict compliance with road safety, traffic, and company transport regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle maintenance records.
• Promptly report any mechanical faults, accidents, or incidents.
• Conduct practical driving and handling sessions for trainees under the Novice Crane Operators Training program.
• Adhere to JC International’s QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of proven experience operating heavy-duty trucks.
• Valid Nigerian Class E Driver’s License (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian road networks and inter-state routes.
• Proven ability to manage long-distance and inter-state trips.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety inspections.
• Experience conducting or supporting operator training is an added advantage.
• Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and reliability.
