Head Sales & Marketing at SENCE Nigeria

Job Description

Our client an established Trust Management company is setting up an Asset Management Firm and requires the services of an experienced Sales and Marketing expert to Head all sales and marketing activities in the firm.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing a sales and marketing strategy and building out an effective team. The person should be excited about building new relationships, strategizing next steps, and beating the competition in head-to-head opportunities.

The responsibilities include;

• Develop market penetrating sales strategies appropriate for Institutions, HNIs and  Retail Investors
• Continually open sales channels for the entire sales team  
• Accompany sales team on visits to key/potential clients as needed
• Develop innovative investment products and swiftly respond to competitors.
• Drive and motivate sales team to meet up with aggressive targets.
• ​Ensure sales reports are reported to the CEO on-time

Requirements

• Minimum BA/BSc (2nd Class Upper) or HND (Upper Credit) 
• At least 8 years’ experience in marketing Investment Products in Nigeria
• In-depth knowledge of the Asset Management Industry in Nigeria and products offered 
• Sound knowledge of Nigerian capital and money markets 
• SEC sponsored individual status will be an advantage 
• Evidence of a diverse network of clients 
• Experience doing digital marketing for a Fin-tech company is desirable
• High energy and ability to motivate teams 
• Excellent planning and project management skills  
• Superior knowledge of Microsoft Power Point, Excel and Word for presentations
• Ability to fluently articulate the value-add of the products to current and potential clients
