Our client, an emerging leader in the Audio-Visual (AV) industry in Nigeria, is seeking a visionary and results-driven Head of Sales and Marketing to lead its collective efforts. This is a critical leadership role responsible for unifying and driving the sales and marketing strategies across the company's distinct business units.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, strategic leader who can embody the company's core values of Excellence, Innovation, and Customer-Centricity. You will be tasked with transforming the group's market presence, expanding its leadership, and creating immersive AV experiences for a diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a cohesive, group-wide sales and marketing strategy that aligns with the collective vision of becoming the cornerstone of AV excellence in West Africa.
Team Management & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales and marketing teams across all business units, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and passion for the industry.
Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities and partnerships to drive revenue growth and expand the group's market share in both B2B and B2C segments.
Brand & Messaging: Oversee the development of powerful brand messaging and marketing campaigns that communicate the group's value proposition and shared commitment to AV excellence.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Use market data, sales metrics, and customer insights to forecast trends, optimize strategies, and make informed decisions that drive sustainable growth.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with the heads of other departments and business unit leaders to ensure that sales and marketing efforts are fully integrated with operational goals and strategic initiatives.
Budget Management: Manage the group's sales and marketing budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve key objectives.
Customer Relationship Management: Champion a customer-centric approach across the organization, ensuring the group's services and solutions consistently exceed client expectations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven experience in a senior leadership role within sales and marketing, with a strong track record of success in a group or multi-subsidiary company structure.
A deep passion for and interest in AV, technology, or a related high-value industry.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute complex, multi-channel sales and marketing strategies.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on using data to drive business growth.
A history of fostering a culture of Excellence, Collaboration, and Integrity within teams.
A university graduate with relevant professional qualifications (MBA or a related master's degree is a plus).
