    Head of Operations

    As the Head of Operations for LearnlyApp EdTech, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the company. Your leadership and strategic vision will be instrumental in driving efficiency, scalability, and growth while ensuring a seamless user experience for our customers. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven individual who can effectively manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve our mission of transforming education through technology.

    Responsibilities:

    • Operational Strategy: Develop and execute operational strategies that align with the company's overall mission, vision, and objectives. Continuously assess and refine processes to improve efficiency and drive business growth.
    • Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing operations team. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity, productivity, and professional development.
    • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement scalable solutions to enhance productivity and streamline workflows across all departments.
    • Vendor and Partner Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, partners, and service providers. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best terms and services for the company.
    • Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions, set performance targets, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of operational initiatives.
    • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services that meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Customer Support and Satisfaction: Collaborate with customer support teams to provide exceptional service and address customer inquiries and issues promptly. Strive to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Work closely with the finance department to develop and manage budgets for operations. Allocate resources efficiently to maximize return on investment.
    • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them. Monitor external factors that may impact the business and adapt strategies accordingly.
    • Scalability and Growth: Plan and execute strategies to support the company's expansion into new markets while maintaining operational efficiency and quality.
    • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Partner with the product, technology, marketing, and content development teams to align operational initiatives with overall business objectives.
    • Continuous Learning and Industry Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the EdTech sector. Share knowledge and insights with the team to foster innovation and growth.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
    • Proven experience (4+ years) in an operations management role, preferably within the EdTech or technology sector.
    • Demonstrated success in scaling operations and driving organisational growth.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decisions and strategies.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
    • Passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on learners' lives.
