Head of Finance at Amani Advisory

Salary: N500,000 (Gross)

Our client specializes in various areas, primarily focusing on the marketing and distribution of electronic and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) products.

As Head of Finance, you will be responsible for maintaining financial procedures and systems, accounting, auditing, reporting, collection, accuracy, tax, budgeting, and working capital management for the Company.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial activities of the company, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to drive growth and profitability.
• Manage financial relationships with banks, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Manage payroll and tax procedures.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting systems.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements like cash flow, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
• Provide guidance on revenue enhancement, cost reduction, and profit maximization.
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
• Cooperate with auditors in preparing audit reports.
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
• Lead and mentor the accounting team

Person Specification

• Chartered Accountant (ACCA) or (ACA) qualification is mandatory.
• Master's Degree in Finance or Business Administration preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a CFO or equivalent in a mid-sized company.
• Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Proven track record of success in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Computer proficiency in financial software (e.g., Accounting Software, ERP systems).
