    Head of Digital Marketing and Growth

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time hybrid role for a Head of Digital Marketing and Growth, based in Lagos. This role owns the entire acquisition and growth engine — turning marketing spend into engaged, retained, profitable users. You'll lead performance marketing, CRM, lifecycle, and growth experimentation across the funnel, and build the team and infrastructure to scale it. With our August 2026 launch ahead, you'll be central to taking the platform to market and driving sustainable growth. This is a high-impact role for a data-driven marketer who can balance aggressive acquisition with disciplined economics and responsible gaming.

    What You'll Do

    • Own digital marketing and growth strategy across the full funnel — acquisition, activation, retention, and referral
    • Lead performance marketing across paid social, search, programmatic, affiliates, and influencer channels
    • Own CRM and lifecycle marketing — onboarding, engagement, reactivation, and retention campaigns
    • Build, lead, and scale the growth and digital marketing team
    • Define and own growth metrics — CAC, LTV, ROAS, conversion, and retention — and optimise relentlessly against them
    • Run a structured experimentation programme across channels, creative, and funnel touchpoints
    • Partner with product on activation, onboarding, and in-product growth loops (including copy-betting and referral mechanics)
    • Manage agency, affiliate, and vendor relationships and the marketing budget
    • Build the analytics and attribution infrastructure to measure spend and growth accurately
    • Ensure all marketing complies with advertising standards and responsible-gaming requirements

    What We're Looking For

    • 7+ years in digital marketing / growth, including team leadership
    • A track record of scaling user acquisition profitably in a consumer app, fintech, gaming, or e-commerce business
    • Deep performance-marketing expertise across paid social, search, and affiliates
    • Strong command of CRM, lifecycle marketing, and retention
    • Highly data-driven, fluent in CAC/LTV/ROAS and funnel analytics
    • Experience building and leading high-performing growth teams
    • Strong understanding of the Nigerian digital and sports-betting market
    • Excellent analytical and communication skills with a bias for experimentation

    Nice to Have

    • Experience in sports betting / gaming or another high-velocity consumer product
    • Familiarity with attribution, analytics, and CRM tooling (e.g. Xtremepush, AppsFlyer, GA4, or equivalent)
    • Experience launching a consumer product into a new market
    • Network within the Nigerian creator, sports, or affiliate ecosystem
