Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business administration or any related field from a reputable tertiary institution.
• At least 8 years' experience in venture capital, Agriculture, investment management, or commodity trading, trading operations and risk management.
• Excellent financial modelling, analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Proven Leadership experience in a high-growth or startup environment with strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Job Description

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Establish the operational framework for the commodity trading company, including regulatory compliance, strategic positioning, and initial market entry.
• Recruit and lead a team Of top-tier professionals, creating a cohesive and high-performing management structure to deliver on business objectives.
• Identify and secure funding sources, including venture capital, private equity, institutional investors and debt financing.
• Establish the operational framework for the commodity trading company, including regulatory compliance, strategic positioning, and initial market entry.
• Implement strategies that foster equity growth, ensuring becomes a profitable and sustainable enterprise.
• Prepare monthly Risk Management & Compliance reports.
