Head of Business Development at Alert Microfinance Bank

Job Description

• Responsible to meet the bank’s approved strategy / plan to facilitate achievement of related short-term and long-term business goals in the most effective and efficient manner according to the supervision and direction of management.
• Proactively identify sales opportunities and deliver value-added, needs-based solutions.
• Deliver customer base growth, achieve growth targets and maximize the financial contribution of the business.
• Achieving the objectives through the bank various distribution channel to expand the business activities.
• Planning and working closely with marketing colleagues on developing the business coverage.
• Drive end-to-end product management lifecycle.
• Product availability is implemented as per strategy.
• Ensure product satisfaction for client base.
• Manage and oversee the process of enhancing the customer service quality and promote new customers align with senior management strategy.
• Identify new business development strategy to build and strengthen FDB Bank portfolio and work with our product specialists to maximize cross selling opportunities.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in the area of banking business development manager, sales and marketing executive or a relevant role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Advantage for the candidates with the knowledge of Myanmar language.
• Excellent product knowledge in banking set up, products and private banking.
• Sufficient knowledge of the market/trends, banking trend and regulatory changes.
• Competitor’s analysis to better strategize for business development strategies.
• Excellent industrial, market and product knowledge in banking for example, SME loan, cards and deposit.
• Positive attitude, proactive, eager and demonstrated experience in change management process.
