    Head of Administration

    Responsibilities

    • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including food safety and hygiene guidelines.
    • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including inventory management, food safety compliance, and quality control, to ensure smooth functioning and adherence to standards.
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures.
    • Ensure smooth communication between the administration, front-of-house, and the kitchen.
    • Maintain high food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation standards to meet health and safety regulations and company policies.
    • Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring proper stock rotation, making supply orders, and minimizing waste to optimize cost efficiency.
    • Ensure that all equipment functions properly and coordinate repairs and maintenance as needed.
    • Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, financial reporting, and supply chain management to ensure operational efficiency.
    • Develop and maintain customer service standards so ensuring that the highest standards of service are achieved. Promote a truly customer focused working environment.
    • Ensure that effective customer feedback mechanisms are understood and used by all staff and that suggestions for service improvements are passed to management.
    • Ensure that all staff are trained in service delivery and understand the service culture required.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
    • 7 years’ experience in an administrative or supervisory role, preferably in the food sector.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Previous experience in a similar role is an added advantage.
