    Head, HR

    Our Client is a Luxury Interior Solutions Company with country-wide operations in Nigeria is looking thire a Head, Human Resources toversee its talent strategy and management efforts.

    The Head, HR role is tmanage the people strategy of the organization, ensuring that human resources programs and initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned toverall objectives and corporate vision of the organization.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    As the Head, Human Resources, you will be required tdthe following:

    • Effectively plan, design, develop and evaluate human resource-related initiatives that support organizational strategic goals. 
    • Supervise and provide consultation tmanagement on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training and development, budget, and labor relations.
    • Take a leadership role in developing a culture that enables employees tperform in accordance tthe Company’s objectives.
    • Direct the development and implementation of organizational development programs, employee orientation and training programs, benefits plans, policies and guidelines, database management procedures, equal opportunity employment programs, and employee records and documentation policies. 
    • Evaluate effectiveness through compiling and analyzing data, prepare and distribute various reports on HR metrics tensure needs are met.
    • Annually reviews and makes recommendations texecutive management for improvement of the organization's policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters.
    • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organization's compliance.
    • Communicate changes in the organization's personnel policies and procedures and ensures that proper compliance is followed.
    • Assist executive management in the annual review, preparation and administration of the organization's wage and salary program.

    Requirements

    • First Degree in relevant discipline. A post graduate qualification and HR certification will be a significant added advantage. 
    • Minimum of 12 years or more tangible HR experience with a track record of success in the following:
    • attracting top talent  
    • improving HR processes & policies 
    • developing and implementing people strategies that support business growth and corporate strategies, 
    • improving employee morale, wellbeing & retention
    • strengthening relations between employees and employers
    • promoting the corporate values & culture
    • ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory people management requirements 
    • Minimum of 5 years in leadership roles. Demonstrate the ability tcommunicate, present and credibly influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 
    • Results oriented with distinctive people management abilities, possess a sound knowledge of regulatory requirements for effective management of human resources, people data analysis and change management.
