    Head, Collaboration & Partnership

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities that align with the Company’s business strategy and growth priorities.
    • Develop and manage relationships with strategic partners, including brokers, corporate clients, affinity groups, aggregators, digital platforms, and technology partners.
    • Coordinate partnership onboarding, documentation, and performance management in collaboration with relevant internal teams.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between the Company and its partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations. Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership and collaboration strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
    • Support the design and execution of partnership models for product distribution, co-branding, bundled offerings, and alternative channels.
    • Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Sales, IT, Finance, and Operations to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives.
    • Drive cross-functional collaboration to maximise value from partnerships and alliances.
    • Prepare periodic reports and insights on partnership performance for Management review.
    • Recommend corrective actions and optimisation strategies to improve partnership outcomes.
    • Represent the Company at industry forums, partner meetings, and business development events, as required.
    • Ensure all partnerships comply with NAICOM regulations, internal policies, and risk management standards.
    • Support contract negotiation processes in collaboration with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams.
    • Maintain accurate records of partnership agreements and related documentation.

    Educational Qualification and Training

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Insurance or related field.
    • A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g. CIIN, ACII, MBA, PMP) is an added advantage.
    • 8–12 years experience in partnerships, alliances, or business development, corporate sales or relationship management, preferably within the Insurance or Financial services environment.

    Skills & Abilities:

    • Strong strategic thinking and business development capabilities.
    • Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Strong commercial awareness and partnership structuring expertise.
    • Ability to develop and manage MOUs, SLAs, and alliance frameworks.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
    • Ability to identify market opportunities and translate them into strategic partnerships.
    • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
