Role Overview

• This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Chef based in Lagos.
• The Head Chef will oversee operations, manage the food preparation process,and ensure high-quality food standards.
• Responsibilities include designing menus, managing food inventory, supervising kitchen staff,maintaining cleanliness standards, and implementing efficient kitchen workflows.
• The Head Chef will also be expected to ensure cost control, train junior kitchen staff, and innovative on menu offerings to meet customer preferences

Key Responsibilties

• Food preparation, menu creation, and knowledge of diverse cuisine styles
• Managing inventory, ordering stock, and controlling food and labor costs tomaintainhealthy profit margins.
• Innovate menu items and resolve kitchen challenges effectively.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Relevant certifications in Culinary Arts or related fields (e.g. a professional chef qualification or Diploma)
• Strong organizational skills to ensure timely delivery of food services
• Ability to guide and mentor kitchen staff, ensure team productivity, and maintain waste
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced or high-end culinary environment.
