JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervision and monitoring of haulage operations, ensuring day to day activities run smoothly.
• Maintaining and managing the database of haulage operations
• Implementing cost effective measures in haulage operations
• Managing daily routes/schedules of movements and deliveries
• Ensuring the proper maintenance of tankers/trucks
• Tracking the progress of products-in-transit (using tracking devices), to ensure safe delivery.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards in haulage operations

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• OND in Mechanical Engineering,Transportation, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of haulage operations
• Good Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• Strong interpersonal and people management skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to write reports
