Job Summary

• As part of its strategic growth and operational excellence agenda, the organisation is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its service operations function.
• The Group Head, Service Operations will lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of all operational activities.
• This role is critical in ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality service delivery while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all client contracts and project lifecycles from initiation to completion.
• Oversee the deployment and performance of field equipment and operations personnel.
• Ensure robust project planning, budgeting, and control mechanisms are in place.
• Drive quality assurance, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction across all service operations.
• Mentor and develop operations teams to enhance productivity and engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; MBA or Master’s in Engineering/Management is an advantage.
• Professional membership in Engineering (COREN or NSE) is a requirement.
• Minimum of 12 years’ experience in the oil & gas upstream service sector, with at least 5-7 years in operations leadership.
• Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership skills are important.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver operational excellence.
