Graphics Designer / Animator at Terminal Africa Inc

About the Role

• You will create visually compelling designs and engaging animations that communicate our brand, tell our story, and drive growth.
• You’ll work closely with our marketing and product teams to create visuals for websites, social media, campaigns, presentations, and more.
• Your designs will help us stand out in a crowded space and connect with African businesses and global audiences.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Design eye-catching graphics for social media, blog posts, ads, presentations, email, and more
• Create short animated videos, motion graphics, and explainer videos
• Develop visuals for marketing campaigns, product launches, and events
• Maintain and evolve Terminal Africa’s visual brand identity
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams to produce engaging visuals
• Translate complex ideas into simple, impactful visuals
• Manage multiple design projects with attention to detail and deadlines
• Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and best practices
• Help shape and grow our brand’s visual language across platforms

Qualifications & Skills

• Have 2+ years of experience in graphic design and animation (preferably in tech or startups)
• Are proficient with design tools (Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.)
• Have a strong portfolio of work (social graphics, brand design, motion graphics, animations)
• Are creative, innovative, and have an eye for clean, modern design
• Understand visual storytelling and branding
• Are experienced with creating content for various platforms (social, web, mobile)
• Have a strong attention to detail and take pride in your work
• Can manage time effectively and handle multiple projects
• Are a great collaborator—comfortable working with marketing and product teams
• Understand logistics, ecommerce, or African SME markets (a plus, but not required)
• Are excited to contribute to an African brand with global ambition
