    Graduate Trainee (Design Engineer)

    Job Description

    We seek highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Trainees (Design Engineers) to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates looking to launch their careers in mechanical design and engineering. As a Design Engineer, you will work on developing and refining product designs, creating detailed engineering drawings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver top-quality products.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Learn and understand our design processes and product specifications.
    • Create, modify, and update detailed CAD models and engineering drawings.
    • Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure designs are manufacturable.
    • Support the design and development of new products and prototypes.
    • Conduct research to improve existing products and develop innovative solutions.
    • Participate in technical meetings and provide input on design considerations.
    • Ensure compliance with design standards and company procedures.

    Requirements

    • Fresh graduate in Mechanical, Materials, or Metallurgical Engineering, or other relevant engineering disciplines.
    • No more than 3 years of experience.
    • Proficient in at least one CAD software, such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or AutoCAD.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Attention to detail and a passion for design and innovation.

    Special Skills Advantage:

    Candidates advanced in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and AutoCAD will have an added advantage. Applicants will undergo a practical test in CAD tools, and successful candidates may join our design and engineering team.
