General Manager at Alan & Grant

Key Responsibilities

• Market the company’s products and scout for new projects they can bid for.
• Prepare quotations on request from prospective clients.
• Coordinate the orders with foreign parent company and ensure all necessary details are present in bidding processes.
• Ensure that all operations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Monitor industry trends and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency.
• Oversee the allocation and management of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve processes across the organization.
• Coordinate port clearing, transport to site and installation of the products.
• Any other functions as may be assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in architecture/engineering/ quantity surveying or any building profession.
• A minimum of 12 years working experience in construction projects.
• Proficiency in use of AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft project and other Microsoft office tools.
• Project Management training and/or certification is an added advantage.
• Demonstrate competencies in effective communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of international procurement and customs clearing details.
• Knowledge of the sale/ installation of doors, windows, kitchen fittings etc.
• Knowledge of the construction industry trades and markets to ensure effective and cost-efficient procurement.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Project management skills.
