    FX Operations Executive

    Job Duties / Responsibilities / Accountabilities

    • Securing leads and getting partners for our products and services.
    • Execute foreign exchange transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely settlement and adherence to trading guidelines.
    • Monitor and manage currency risk exposures, develop strategies to mitigate risk, and make recommendations to optimize the company's FX positions.
    • Confirm all executed FX trades with counterparties and ensure accuracy in trade confirmations.
    • Stay current with foreign exchange regulations and ensure full compliance with relevant laws and reporting requirements.
    • Maintain comprehensive records of all FX transactions, including trade tickets, settlement details, and related documentation.
    • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on FX exposure, trading activity, and performance for internal stakeholders.
    • Perform regular reconciliations of FX transactions, ensuring accuracy and identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
    • Cultivate relationships with banks, brokers, and counterparties to facilitate efficient FX operations.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the FX operations workflow and implement enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
    • Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure alignment of FX activities with broader financial objective
    • Identifying and analyzing market trends using technical analysis and other indicators
    • Calculating risk exposure to determine whether trades are suitable for clients based on their investment objectives
    • Support increased revenue and profit initiatives to achieve business growth.

    Education Qualification

    • MSc or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Marketing, Management, Business Administration or any relevant discipline will be an added advantage

    Competencies Required:

    • Capacity to facilitate the development of existing businesses and ensure these are aligned to overall company plans (includes implementation, risk mitigation and contingency plans)
    • Proven experience in foreign exchange operations within the financial industry.
    • Strong understanding of global financial markets, currency trading, and risk management techniques.
    • Proficiency in using FX trading platforms and relevant software applications.
    • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on market data and trends.
    • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements related to foreign exchange transactions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with counterparties and internal stakeholders.
    • Detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
    • High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
    • Proven track record of increasing revenue(s)
    • Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business.
