Frontend Developer at Simplify International Synergy

Scope of the Role

• Frontend developer would be responsible for implementing the user interface and engineers the experience of sites/software’s being put out by the company.
• Candidate should reside in Abuja or be open to relocate to Abuja with little or no assistance.

Specific Responsibilities

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Translation of both API integrations and UI/UX designs to actual code
• Develop and maintain frontend code
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Release content which works across different browsers and devices
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• Be involved in a scrum based team, estimating and planning work according to scrum principles
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Ensure that code has been tested prior to release
• Create and maintain development documentation and ensure that documentation remains updated throughout the development phases
• Any other duties as assigned by the CTO

Technical Knowledge/Minimum Requirement

• Minimum of four years of professional programming experience
• Knowledge of a range of frontend languages - Typescript/Javascript, NodeJS, MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS, NextJS, Postman, Swagger, Strapi, Typegraphql
• Experience working with Agile processes
• Experience developing user stories and customer journeys
• Experience using agile tools like Trello, Slack
• Experience with code versioning tools such as Git
• Strong knowledge of cross-platform compatibility and responsive website development.
• Outstanding ability to think creatively and strategically, to identify and solve problems.
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to details
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Be proactive and require little supervision
• Must reside in Abuja.
