    Front Desk Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a front desk officer who will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
    • They will handle reservations, answer inquiries, and assist with various tasks to ensure guest satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Greet guests and assist with check-in and check-out processes
    • Handle reservations and room assignments
    • Answer inquiries about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
    • Assist with luggage storage and transportation
    • Process payments and maintain accurate records
    • Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
    • Assist with various tasks, such as mail distribution and key management
    • Follow all safety and security procedures.

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
    • Knowledge of hotel reservation systems and basic computer skills
    • Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
    • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.

    Working Conditions

    • The front desk officer will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with guests.
    • They may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
    • The position may require standing for extended periods of time.
