Job Description

• We seek a dedicated and passionate Part-Time French Teacher to join our academic team.
• The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the French language, with the ability to effectively teach pupils of various age groups and proficiency levels within Nursery and Primary.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be:

• An excellent teacher and subject specialist at primary level that can teach high quality lessons to pupils in Early Years and Primary, ranging from Nursery to Year 6
• Responsible for developing lesson plans and delivering engaging lessons
• Able to assess pupils’ progress in both written and spoken French and provide constructive feedback and support
• Confident in the use of computers and enthusiastic in using new technology to enhance learning.
• Skilled at fostering independent, pupil-led learning
• Required to maintain an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes effective learning

Requirements

• B.A French
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
• Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Package, especially Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Must live within easy commuting distance of Jericho, Ibadan.
