    Fitness Trainer

    Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

    • Conduct fitness assessments and develop personalized workout plans for hotel guests.
    • Lead individual and group training sessions, ensuring proper techniques and safety standards are maintained.
    • Provide guidance on exercise routines, strength training, cardiovascular workouts, and flexibility programs.
    • Monitor clients during workouts to prevent injuries and ensure correct form.
    • Offer basic nutritional and wellness advice in line with fitness goals.
    • Ensure gym equipment is used correctly, cleaned after use, and properly arranged.
    • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the fitness facility.
    • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and requests.
    • Report any equipment faults, safety concerns, or incidents to the Gym Manager.
    • Promote gym services and wellness programs to enhance guest experience.

    Requirement

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Fitness Trainer or similar role.
    • HND/Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Exercise Science, or a related field is an added advantage.
    • Recognized fitness certification (e.g., Personal Trainer Certification).
    • Strong knowledge of workout techniques, fitness principles, and injury prevention.
    • CPR and First Aid certification is an added advantage.
    • Good physical fitness and professional appearance.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

    • High level of energy and enthusiasm.
    • Strong attention to safety and detail.
