Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and financial management skills.
• Knowledge of IFRS and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.

Job Purpose

• The Financial Reporting Compliance Officer will be responsible for reporting, processing, and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data relating to the activities of StandardLink Continental Investment Limited. The role supports the MD/CEO in executing the financial control function and supervising finance operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines on financial reporting and disclosure.
• Supervise the preparation and submission of periodic returns to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory reporting standards.
• Prepare management reports, performance analyses, annual budgets, and financial highlights.
• Monitor industry trends, competition, and regulatory policies affecting the business.
• Coordinate staff tax matters, including PAYE administration and tax clearance processes.
• Maintain and update internal and external databases.
• Process weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Develop and improve monitoring, reporting, and analysis tools.
• Conduct training on data processing, reporting, and analysis.
• Prepare financial models, forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
• Analyze financial statements and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all reporting requirements and documentation standards.
• Coordinate recurring financial reporting activities across departments.
• Support the Financial Reporting Disclosure Committee and document meeting proceedings.
• Supervise revenue recognition processes and review contracts for financial implications.
• Develop and implement internal financial controls.
• Liaise with branch staff to resolve reporting deficiencies and documentation issues.
• Perform control checks and ensure audit-ready documentation.
