Job Summary

• The candidate will be responsible for supporting financial operations and decision-making through accurate financial analysis, reporting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRSs and GAAPs
• Preparation of Weekly/Monthly Management Reports
• Posting of transactions into the Accounting Software
• Handle banking transactions and carry out weekly/monthly reconciliation of bank statements.
• Preparation and maintenance of the Company’s Fixed asset register
• Have a sound working knowledge of the Nigerian Tax system and handle all statutory remittances for the Company e.g., PAYE, WHT & VAT
• Auditors’ engagement for annual/Interim Audit.
• Preparation of annual budgets
• Other related duties

Skills

• Very strong analytical and numeric skills
• Intermediate to an advanced working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and oral communication
• Proactive and requires limited supervision.
• Good Presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• 4-6 years of hands-on, post-NYSC work experience in accounting.
• ACCA, ICAN
