Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive Finance Executive to join our finance team.
• This role supports day-to-day accounting tasks, data entry, and reporting in a fast-paced environment, with hands-on learning opportunities for recent graduates pursuing a career in Finance and Accounting.

Core Function

• Provide administrative, clerical, and operational support to the finance team, ensuring efficient record-keeping documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• General Ledger & Bookkeeping: Record daily business transactions into accounting systems Quickbooks.
• Accounts Receivable & Payable: Issue invoices to clients, follow up on outstanding payments, and process vendor payments.
• Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements daily or monthly to identify and resolve discrepancies in cash flow.
• Tax & Compliance: Ensure timely preparation of schedule for statutory taxes such as VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), and PAYE.
• Audit Support: Prepare detailed schedules and documentation to assist internal and external auditors.
• Carry out clerical tasks required in the finance department and any other tasks assigned by the Head of Department.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional Certification: Membership or being at the foundation stage of bodies like ICAN or ACCA is often required for career progression.
• Experience: 2 to 3 years of practical experience in a finance or accounting department.
• Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and in specialized accounting software like QuickBooks or Tally.
