Finance Associate at Sun King (Formerly Greenlight Planet)

About the Role:

Sun King is looking for a Finance Associate to join its Finance team in Nigeria. The Finance Associate will work closely with the Finance team in Nigeria to ensure the organisation has adequate human capacity to cater for the financial books and record (account payable) in the region.

What you would be expected to do

Expense Management:

• Payment processing and payment posting on SAP S4 Hana
• Daily invoicing and cash matching with settlements, covering HR invoices and all staff-related costs.

Bank Reconciliation:

• Execution of bank-to-bank transfer instructions, and bookings on SAP.
• Bank reconciliation and oversight of account balances.

Prepayment And Provisioning:

• Provisioning of expenses and accrual accounting
• Prepayment amortization on monthly basis
• Assist with Month End Closure (MEC) .

Vendor and ERP Management:

• Vendor creation and management, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Weekly invoicing to vendor's ledger entry.

You might be a strong candidate if you

• Have a degree in Finance, Accounting or any related other related field. ACA/ACCA Qualification will be an added advantage.
• Have at least 2 years’ hands on experience in Accounting or related role.
• Demonstrate experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP S4 Hana or related.
• Knowledge of expense management tools like Zoho.
  Strong Excel skills - use of complex formulas.
• Are proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Effective Information Management Skills.
