Daily Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of bank collections and wallet activity to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
Settlement Processing: Process daily settlements to partners by established procedures and timelines.
Exception Handling: Identify, report, and address exceptions in settlement processes promptly, providing detailed reports to the team and relevant stakeholders.
Dispute Resolution: Collaborate with customer support and affected business partners to report and resolve disputed transactions, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining positive partner relationships.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze weekly dispute and chargeback reports to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
Commission and Fee Reporting: Compile and analyze monthly commission and fee reports to accurately reflect financial performance and obligations.
Compliance and Controls: Maintain compliance with accounting controls by adhering to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Ad-hoc Tasks: Undertake other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management to support the finance and operations team.
Requirements
At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in demonstrable experience.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other analytical tools (Knowledge of Power BI is considered an added advantage).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with B2B billing processes and payment systems is preferred.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
