Finance/Accounts Officer at Dipsy Fiberglass Manufacturing Limited

We are looking for Finance/Account Officer who will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in the preparation of financial reports, processing payments, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, managing stock levels, and properly taking monthly inventory to ensure proper accountability. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with financial data and accounting software.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Conduct cost analysis and ensure accurate costing of flower pots and production materials.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor and manage inventory accounting to ensure accurate valuation and stock management.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and manage the filing of VAT, income tax, and other statutory reports.
• Oversee the reconciliation of bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitor financial performance against budgets.
• Implement and maintain internal control systems for financial operations.
• Perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Educational and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional Certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CPA).
• Work Experience of 2-5 years in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or production company.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Accounting Software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Understanding of cost accounting and inventory management, relevant to manufacturing.
• Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance, especially for manufacturing businesses.
• Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
