Finance / Account Officer at Advantage Health Africa

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
• Manage account reconciliation, bank statements, and ledger entries.
• Handle budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, PAYE, and company tax filings.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Implement internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
• Assist in financial decision-making and strategic planning.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.
• ICAN certification (or in the final stages of completion).
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
