As a Field Business Development Officer on PalmPay’s Pay with Transfer (PWT) team, you will be responsible for driving product adoption and business growth. This role involves identifying and onboarding quality merchants and agents, promoting the PWT solution, and building strong relationships to ensure consistent usage and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and onboard high-quality merchants and agents within assigned locations
Drive deployment of PWT account posters and ensure visibility at merchant locations
Educate merchants and agents on the benefits and usage of the Pay with Transfer solution
Conduct regular follow-ups to encourage adoption and resolve any issues
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with merchants and agents
Monitor merchant activity and provide feedback to improve product performance
Meet and exceed assigned sales and activation targets
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of OND (Ordinary National Diploma)
Proven experience in sales, field marketing, or business development is an added advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and meet targets
Good knowledge of the local market within assigned areas
